Does green algae kill corolean?

[sorry i did not know how to spell that but there is lots of green turf like algae on my live rock and the rocks around it and i had alot of corolean on the live rock but i just recently got two turbo snails and they seem to be eating the green stuff but it seems that my corolean is less as well what do you think............. ???]
 
[I wouldn't worry about the coraline. My tiny tank is only a few months old and I have beautiful purplue coraline cropping up all over the place. It seems to like the plastic stuff more than the glass, but it's definitely coming in nicely.

Keep your Calcium levels good (as well as everything else) and be patient.

I've seen numerous threads on RC where people claim that when your cleanup crew nibbles on it and !#$% it back out it spreads like wildfire.]
 
[I wouldn't say that it "kills" coraline algea but it does compete for surface area with it. If given a chance the green can completely cover the rock and coraline giving an overall drab look to the tank. What kind for green do you have? If it is real "turf" your are in for a battle.]
