Coral Mounting Magnets

Has anyone ever though about using magnets to mount coral to rocks. I mean its kind of a pain if you have to move a coral and attach it to another spot. What if you had several magnets positions in different location on your rock structure. Then if you need to move one of your corals, you could just simple pull it from where it is and place in another mount location.

I don’t know, just a though i had the other day while mounting a branch of frogspawn.

The peg method is easier in my opinion. It requires drilling holes in the rock, but much more flexible and less expensive. Magnets would be pricey, and more work to get them to attach to the rocks IMO.
