Clownfish in sand...

Today I noticed that my larger clown is being a lot more dominate than normal, even to the point of running the smaller one off from the surface down to the sand when I feed.  Fins all look solid, haven't been nipped at.  They go through the typical love hate relationship but its gotten more extreme recently to the point the smaller one will go to a corner of the tank up front and just lay in the sand then start swimming when the bigger one gets close by.  Any ideas? Also, I know it will come up.  Tank tested good with nothing out of the ordinary.  No new fish additions, as they are my only fish that have been in the tank.  No signs of ich or parasites.  Color is still very vibrant.  Nothing has changed in the tank and the clowns have been in there for months now.Thank you in advance for any advice!

May have changed sex from male to female and now became more aggressive to become dominant
