Chili Coral - It's alive!

I've had this chili coral for a couple years at least, and it was one of the best growing corals in my NPS tank, growing new fingers loaded with polyps. Then one week it showed signs of shutting down and then that was it...a few months back it just stopped extending its polyps (4-5 months maybe). I left it in place, the branches still seemed to expand and contract ever so slightly, and it's so well mounted/embedded upside down to the rock I just left it. A few moments ago I looked in the tank and about ten polyps were extended for feeding. Two weeks ago I moved all the sun corals out and into the sump of my 60g with the intentions of not keeping the tank except as a QT, so now I just feed the few fish that are in it.

I'm totally amazed that it's still alive after all these months of no polyps to feed. Of course the first thing I did was pipette some Fauna Marin Seafan and Ultra Min to it. I'll post a pic tonight, hopefully they'll still be out.
