Caulacanthus ustulatus - HELP

Anyone had any experience getting rid of this stuff. I found the ID on Marc's Identification page and it explains it perfect. It is very brittle and any place it lands it latches on. I have been manually removing but it is starting to get serious. If I dont find a way to get it under control I will probably have to remove the affected rocks out of the display. Hopefully someone has a better solution.

Those little Euplica sp. snails eat it, but not fast enough. We had a diadema urchin that loved it as well. We ended up picking off what the urchin couldn't reach.
