So I've got a 156 gallon tank.

Purple tang
Blue eye tang
Sailfish tang.
Yellow tang (in isolation)

Could I add another yellow tang or two to help get these to "school"

A Scopus or another tang? Or both?

Hard to say, tangs are very wishy washy. One might be just fine, the next will be as ornery as you can imagine. I would venture to guess that the existing tangs will be very territorial and torment the snot out of the new ones.

I wouldn't do it personally... sounds like world war 3 to me, reef style. Plus, I've always understood that they are open to schooling while juvenile but will become territorial as they get older.

If you're going to do it, get a "Peacemaker" from Melev's Reef or something similar to house the new tang in for a few weeks before letting it out to reduce the aggression.

I've always been told to keep tangs in odd numbers,(never knew why...)but that's quite a few in a small space. They will get very aggressive due to grazing competition.

Let the games begin!!!

1 purple
1 sailfin
1 Scopus
2 yellow

Silver far so good
