berghia nudibranch

Im in the same boat. I want one too. I wonder if a sixline wrasse would eat them though. My six line is a pretty tough little fish.

I wanted to get some, too. But then read that pod-eating/pest-eating fish like mandarins and wrasses would eat them, so I saved my money (and a few nudis, too).

Go to this website below. I've bought from there before - they're in Missouri. If you guys want to do a group buy, I'm in.

I would like to get a few of these if you guys are still interested to try and get a group buy together..

I already tried $20 worth and they were gone the next morning i checked the tank, lol. My aptasia is getting worse and worse...

If anyone has any, I'm looking for about 4-6 probably. Quite a lot of aiptasia so that many would probably be good for them to slowly eat it all and possibly reproduce too. Wish there was someone that had some extras after egg laying in their tank!

FYI there is a breeder in Texas, San Antonio, who raises them. Here is the website:

I haven't tried them personally. DaveJ bought a breeding population. I'm not sure how they've worked out for him. The problem as others have mentioned is long term survivability of the population and getting them established to begin with. As others have mentioned, if you have fish that will eat nudis, flat worms, etc., it would be a waste of money. I think once they're established they probably do a great job, but the risk is pretty great.

Ok, thanks. I talked to DNA last night and a guy there said he had tried them twice and they ended up not lasting. He really recommended peppermint shrimp but gave me another way of getting them into the tank so fish won't try to eat them. Going to give them another shot.
