All topics gone?

That is a good question. We sent notifications via Facebook and PM announcing the launch of our new website; if you wish to have a specific forum transferred to the new site from the old please let us know.To access the archive please click on the archive button located in the top menu under Forum. If you have topics started by you; you can carry over the posts by copy paste.Let me know if you have further questions.

So, whose idea was it to create a new forum and not migrate member stats, avatars, photos, or content? This forum is likely to die on the vine without the wealth of information it used to provide ?Was it just deemed to be too much work? Can you just switch back until you figure out how to do this the right way?

Agree fully, my friend.?Grant and I have opened talks with Jose, but indicated he cannot work on this until Wednesday. Hoping to be able to pull this thing back at that point.??

Sorry for my tone this morning, New Year's Day and all that came with it lol!

I do appreciate the effort that is going into the site and know that it isn't something that anyone gets paid for, but the notion that we need to try and remember something that we might want moved over and the rest gets torched after 60 days seems like an odd choice. I cut my saltwater teeth in these forums 12 years ago and just don't want to see it all gone. That, and I work in IT and feel like that there must be some way to migrate the data.

I am completely with you. You will see these have been my concerns... and we will have to get all others on board as well.??I am new to the hobby (less than a year) and I used all the old posts as reference.?

Hopefully we will get some content back soon...growing pains! I have had to go back to the archive site to look up quite a few things. Can't wait for it to all be in one spot hopefully.
