Acan coral receding

All of my other corals seem to be doing fine (Leather, Zoas, Trumpet, Hammer, Brain) but my Acan is receding from the bottom up. It used to be about 15 polyps but it has lost about 7 of those on the bottom. Any ideas?

PH 8.1
Salinity 1.025
Alk 10
Calcium 450
Temp 79-80

It is a 60 gallon tank with 12 gallon sump and I do a 5 gallon water change every 1-2 weeks.

What's your phosphates and nitrates at?

Nitrates are 0
Phosphates were 0 when I tested this weekend but sometimes show .05 I have GFO in a media bag in the sump filter sock.

What type of lighting are they under

lighting would be the cause I bet.. do you have a frag rack? try moving it up using a frag rack. other thing would be do bigger water changes. do 10g instead of 5g. I have a 60 cube also, and I noticed better health of my corals and clearer water after I started doing 10g every 2 weeks instead of 5g every week. But as always, YMMV

They are under LED lighting. Searching on other forums I have seen several folks recommend less lighting for Acans if they start to recede so I guess I will move him to a partly shaded area and see how he fares.

Larger water changes may be a good idea as well.
