A question for the DIY wizards

Ok I have a small penquin filter for a 20 gallon tank that I need to route the filtered water (or some of it) into two fish bowls in the tank
Any ideas?

This would look VERY ghetto, but my initial reaction is to get a piece of PVC pipe, spilt it in half so it's more like a gutter, drill a hole through the pipe and the output of the power filter, and zip-strip it in place...

I'm sure someone will come up with a far more elegant solution, but that's what I'd do, at least, that was my "30 seconds of staring at it" idea... :)

Richard, that filter is adorable. I want one just because its so tiny.

You may want to check this site regarding nuisance algae and eggcrate in this type of setup:

A deep sand bed seems to be the consensus now for the base.

I would agree with Serk on the gutter. Cut the top out of a 1/2" piece of PVC just wide enough for the filter outlet. Glue it to the outlet then elbow the pvc into the tanks.
