I didn't realize it had been so long since we had updated this thread. So what we have done over the past year. We added another 40 pounds of rock donated by real reef rock. Two tank bred banghai cardinals, and a long spine urchin. We still have only lost one fish over almost two years. We've had some disasters but everything has done well. The auto too off sensor fell in the water and didn't top off for a few days over a holiday. The heater blew up in the sump and shut off power to the tank. I have no idea how long it was off. The tank was down to 73 degrees when I discovered it. No losses though.
Recently reefbreeders donated a refurbished 48" photon led fixture. I couldn't believe it. I called to get them on our vendor list and Logan said he'd be happy to help us out. Awesome service and awesome light if you are looking for a good cheap controllable led fixture. Here are some updated tank shots. I just got the lights up on Tuesday.
