400Gal Down Under

Awesome lights! Coral will work fantastic under them!

I do hope you knocked off that bottle of wine after all the unpacking :) Speaking of which, Savage is coming to Dallas in a couple weeks so need him to bring me some Aussie wine with him!

Are the t5's dimmable also. We just now can start to preorder the new led t5 fixture I was thinking on ordering one

Hi Sherman,

Coral growth has been good after a long spell of shock from ramping up the ATI's too quickly.

The tank is settled again now, just in time for another major upset.

My new house is closing on completion and my new tank has been built, it is ready 3 weeks ahead of schedule, so I don't have the stand ready yet.

Couple of pics in the LFS's warehouse:

Wow Phil, so sorry that happened! I am sure Marc will chime in on the woes of large tank bursts... way too common!

I am starting to think all the problems I had with my large tank are a blessing compared to the issues others have setting up large tanks.

OK so it's been a while.

Hi Guys, a friend had been pestering me for a vid for a while, excuse the lack of clean glass and poor lighting, it was sunset and the sun was streaming in the windows.

I plan to add more rock and scape the rocks to cover the CL inlets/outlets much more than current.

I scored an excellent deal on a maxima clam yesterday and thought I would tease you guys in the US with how ridiculously cheap some of our stock is here in Australia.

A local aquaculture facility decided to rotate it's stock and sell off some recently spawned clams.

This large clam is about 10" long and the baby that is attached is about 3", they aren't spectacularly coloured

I am also coral sitting an accidental frag of this coral (its about 4" x 6"), the burnt out spots have all grown over now
