Worm in Welso

I recently purchased a rainbow welso, I got it at a discount because it had 2 problem spots that had hair algae on it after dipping it in coral dip and removing the algae I noticed a feather duster like worm in the bad spot. What should I do about this worm, try a 2nd dip tomorrow, fresh water dip, leave it be??

Looks like a barnacle. They will die shortly they have a short lived life in aquarium. Bad thing is they destroy the coral where they come out at. I had one kill 3 heads of my frogspawn after a month they were dead and gone. You could try and stab that area to kill it.

I had one like that, i just superglued that area and it was gone in few weeks.
