my long nose hawk fish was in the tank for about 3 weeks, and then today i was cleaning my top off water storage, and noticed a dried up long nose. man i really liked that fish.

i need to be more attentive to the fish mates, to see if any are missing.

sad when fish go air diving, I had a green mandarin i had for over 3 years air dive on me a month a go. Favorite fish, great personality, and he ate frozen.
 
My fresh water fish used to do that too often, almost lost a whole school of tetras over a few weeks. I finally bought egg crate (light diffuser) to cover the tank, doesn't seem to effect the amount of light the tank gets, I still leave 2 of my PC's off on that tank. Not sure how it would fare the heat of a halide tho :/
 
Larry, I saw two at Frank's Tanks. One has the tail chewed off, so you might score a deal while it heals in your tank. ;)

Plus, I doubt it can jump at this point. :idea:
