Stripes on watermelon chalice

I picked up a watermelon chalice frag and as its been growing out I've noticed it has white/blue stripes all over. I was worried the skeleton was showing through but its not. Pics will be posted later.

Yeah no health issues just wondering if anyone has seen this before. When I picked it up almost all its color was gone and it was paper thin.

I have noticed my chalices do that when I have alk. issues.

My levels tend to stay steady and its been like this for months. Also all my other chalice are fine. I'll post pics of them as well

yes when my Bio Pellets get clogged and not tumble so much i notice my watermelon is the first to start that. I clean it up and get Alk in check and skimmer skims out gunk its goes right back to normal.
