Sticky situation - Fuge blues

[My friend is trying to partition a rubbermaid container with sheets of plexiglass. Previous atempts with silicone sealant, and "plexiglass to plexiglass" adhesive have not been successful. The rubbermaid container bows when filled with sand and water, so the adhesive would have to be pretty flexible. Is he better off with an "all glass" system?]

[Hi
He is probibly not going to get anything to
stick to that container, if he wants to get partitions
he best bet is to get multiple containers. or get
a cheap glass tank as long as one fits his size.

[Like Joe said, he can put smaller containers within larger ones, stair stepping the various zones.

He can do like Cody did and put the lid on, then screw it in place and cut out the center hole for access. That will help keep the walls more rigid.

Using Weld-On #40 (not 4) will probably be his best bet, but it really isn't a very nice setup.

He also MUST put foam padding under the rubbermaid bins, because many (most) come with feet and the pressure point of all that water will be on each foot rather than the entire base. The foam absorbs all that pressure, and the container will press into it to become a form-fitting surface, which will avoid a sudden bursting of the container.]
