Shrooms are dying

Do siphon out that sludge with airline tubing.

I've had similar problems with this particular Tongan species. I don't know what it is but it only affects Tongans in my tank. I have noticed the ones in the shade survived.
Is yours directly under the MH?

They were under PC.

I don't know. The first time I heard about it was from Eric Borneman, when he was diagnosing one of my corals. It ended up not being that, so I didn't have to pursue it.

I'd still siphon out any of that stuff from your tank, if it is still there.

I believe I do have brown jelly disease. It spread to my brain coral and part of it turned white. I removed it and got all the jelly off. Have to see if the coral will recover.

I had some brown goo show up on my Torch corals base and it shrivelled up and died last week in a matter of 2 days....

I thought maybe I damaged it with my scraper but now I'm wondering if there wasn't something else wrong with it.
