Sherman roses - male or female?

I've been guessing female, just because I've never witnessed a spawn, and have never heard of anyone having one from them... That's just a guess though, I haven't dissected one and inspected it's gonads under a microscope or anything...

(Ironically, I was talking to someone about breeding Entacmaea quadricolor and how to sex one definitively just a few hours ago!)

They can reproduce both sexually and asexually. Interestingly enough, I've never heard of one of them sexually reproducing around here.

I though the reproduction was asexual because they split. Is that not the case? said:
The asexual reproduction, splitting, creates a genetic clone of the the source animal...

They also can spawn sexually, creating a genetically new animal...
