Seahorse Tailrot Help!

We have a couple of sea horses and one of them I think might have tail rot. The tip of his tail is white and doesn't look right, he keeps it straight instead of curled and it seems painful to him because he freaks out whenever anything touches it. We did a freshwater dip for 12 minutes yesterday and did a 50% water change. He is still eating but has a weak snick. We have a quarantine tank set up but the question is do we do formalin baths and if so where can we get some today? We live around the Fort Worth/Keller area. Also should we treat the quarantine tank with something like Furan-2? Any advise would be greatly appreciated since I know seahorses are so sensative. Thanks in advance!
