I put a Deep Sand Bed (DSB) with some mangrove plants just cuz. I have all my Rock rubble down there too so that if i want to frag, I like my frags on a rubble piece rather than a plug. If you run bio pellets, then that's all you should need. If you don't run carbon dosing, you should have your chaeto or calurpa there. I also stuck a frag rack down there to grow and trim my corals. But Rock rubble is important because it give places for your Copepods to safely reproduce.
