[I was wondering...I have read on alot of forums that some of these beautiful animals will fade and change color under different lighting schemes.
If I were to purchase something and place it under NO lights for now will it regain its original color when I upgrade to better lights. ???]
 
[I would think that'd depend on at least 3 things:
1. What are you thinking of buying?
2. How long would you have it under NO lights?
3. Where would you have it positioned in the tank? (How far from the light)]
 
[If were talking about fish, the fade in color may have many reasons, diet, environmental, stress and possibly physical health. The color may or may not return, death may possibly occur if the cause is not corrected.

Coral can appear a different color under different lighting conditions. Some require intense lighting and if under NO lighting will most probably eventially die. They may return to health if proper lighting is provided.]
 
[You can add low light corals. Mushooms will do fine under low lighting and are easy to care for.]
