You can go for quite a while without a skimmer. Just do more frequent small water changes. Order one from BRS and it'll get to you within 3 days. Or call an LFS close by.
I've been running without a skimmer for about 4 months now. I've been doing more frequent water changes and no real issues have come as a result of it.
Thank yall for the information. I have a rather small bioload as i only have two small damsels and one clown fish. I just was not sure if it would be alright for a week or so.
