Propagation using starboard

[I stayed up until 2 am the other day and swap out the egg-crate with starboard. I did not care for egg-crate before because it traps hair algae. So I'm hoping this setup will have better coral growth in the long run.
Lighting is 150 watt HQI aquaspace mini-spacelight. 10K.
I'm using 3 powerhead with Chauvet for water movement. Also 1/2 inch seaswirl connected to Mag 9.5 pump

[interesting...is the starboard elevated? If so, are you going to have problem with algae growth underneath where there would be little flow? I wonder if you could get by with less light using starboard since it reflects so much.]
 
[Marc built the sump and he put some acrylic to elevate the eggcrate. I don't think algae will be a problem because there is nothing for algae to settle on - plus algae won't get much light under the starboard.]
