problem fitting T5's in my canopy

My 40 breeder is current running one 175 MH bulb and parabolic reflector pictured here...

I want to add 2 T5's to add supplimental lighting. My problem is the reflector runs the full 18" from front to back. If I turned the reflector sideways it would work because I could run 36" T5's accross the whole canopy and go over the part of the MH reflector that curves down. But I dont want to turn the reflector beause it would make light go forward and back instead of spreadign it side to side.

Another option is to put the 36" T5's lower than the MH light. This would work at the back part of the canopy but in the front it would be in the way of my access to the tank.

It would be nice if they made an 18" retro fit T5 setup. I could fit 2 18" bulbs in there easily.

Anyone have any suggestions?

That will work out well. I had that kind of setup before I switched to all T5's. It worked well. I only changed to all T5's for the heat, power, and bulb savings.
