I have two powerfilters, but also have a wet-dry filter... should I use one or the other... both? Confused a little, on which is better for my tank (180 gal.)
What are you planning to keep? If you are looking to keep coral you'll really want to be careful how you use either one of these filters.
With the wet-dry, you want to make sure you take out the bio-balls. These will trap food / detritus and become a nitrate trap.
Usually when people use powerfilters they remove the media and use them to grow macro algae. My guess is this would be too small on a 180. I'd look into picking up at least a 40 gallon sump.
