Pineapple in my Paly?

Is this really a pineapple in my paly? I have them under the rocks, none on top of the rocks until this?? Should I just get a pair to tweezers and take it off? Do I need to dip the paly in anything? Anyway to reduce these guys in my tank? I obviously have a problem with them...
 
I think they are just sponges and you should be ok. I could be wrong on that maybe someone else will chime in:)
 
I do think it's a pineapple sponge, but it's growing in the center of my paly and it doesn't look to happy about it. I can go in with tweezers and get it out, but didn't know if I should dip the paly in something or will it recover on it's own? Is there anything I can dose to help cut down on the sponge population?
 
I had one just like yours.
I extracted it with a pair of tweezers a couple of days ago.
I never dipped it or anything and have not had a issue with it.

Yet that is lol
