I bought a small nano starter culture and some f/2 from Algae depot on ebay for 9 bucks free shipping. Came fast and was super dark and concentrated. Im already starting up 2 liters after 7 days.
for culture vessels, go to whole foods or your local fancy grocery - look for the apple cider in glass jugs. those 1 gallon round glass jugs make great culture vessels, and it's cheaper to get them with cider than empty.
