PC light strobing

My actinic on one side had begun strobing (flashing) so I replaced the bulb. It's been good for a couple of weeks and just started strobing again. Is this a common failure? Any thoughts here?

according to your sig you are using x10 with your ac3, right? A quick way to test if this is your problem is to plug anything else into the same outlet, if it stops, then that is your problem. It is called Local Control in your x10 box, and you have to sever a wire to fix it. See neptunes site for help below.

Not sure this an X10 problem. I have an AC3 and not X10 and recently it started happening to me as well. I bought bulbs to replace them but if I am reading this correctly it seems that may not be the fix.

I have noticed that after a period of time (after the system warms up) they do light and stay lit.
