Parbulb/led bulb

I have an 8 gallon nano tank my specs:

Dimensions 30cm x 30cm x 35cm
Lighting - 2 x 11 watt pc lighting

I have been looking for a differen light set up and was wondering If anyone have some advice? I was thinking about a parbulb but don't know which one to get. Kinda on a budget.

I'm setting up a new one as well. These are the three I was looking at... while putting these links together... I noticed the boostled.com product just happens to be 25% of right now! Hmmm...

Depends on your situation. Are there any height requirements? If you're unable to hang it 12" above or more you'll need to know that. The thing to look at is the par charts on each... choose from those numbers. Look at the light spread. Remember that par numbers at 6" will be a 12" radius, those numbers are 6" from center.

I'm likely getting 40 degree so I can hang it higher. That way the light will come more from slightly more above than at an angle towards the walls of my tank, but I have no height restrictions.

Reefkoi carries these bulbs now and his has small fan in it. I'm probably going to get one for my 12gal nano. Anyone found a good fixture for these? I would like to find something I could attach to the wall behind the nano and then be able to move the bulb around until I found the position I wanted.

I currently use 8 of the par 30 bulbs from boost led to light my 46"x24"x 14" tank ... they work great, and, you can order a custom bulb (with specific colors) from boost led ... the optics are easy to change to dial in the color to your desire - good luck

Thanks for the info! This is likely my number 1 option now.
