Well, he's been around a week now but is still refusing to eat anything I throw in the tank. Fortunately (for him, not me), there is some hair algae that he seems to be picking on. I've read all the tips (garlic, garlic and maybe more garlic) and am wondering what others experiences have been. How long did it take to get your Naso to eat?
 
Have you tried mash up nori with your finger? I had luck with an Achilles eating that way, and eventually the fish will know that nori is food.
 
I had one that it took me just about a month to get him to eat. I had to feed him romaine in order to get him to start eating. Unfortunately that one died due to a malfunctioned powerhead. Second one I got ate the first day without a problem.
 
Try tying it to a rock if you haven't already. If he's eating from rocks, try presenting food like that. It will be the most natural to him.

Mine ate right away.
 
As it turns out, I just needed to go out of town for a few days. My girlfriend has him eating PE mysis like a champ. Go figure!
