Need help on my asm 3 protein skimmer

Hey guys
I just bought this skimmer and I need some help on how to clean out the collection cup.
Is there a way to take it apart and take the collection cup out??? Or do I pull it out cuz it's hard and I don't want to end up breaking it. [smilie=thinking.gif]
any help would be wonderful!

ASM Skimmer cups are attached to the body by 3 small slots. The cup has bumps on the inside that fit into the slots on the body and then you lock it with a slight twist. I may be stuck on due to build up. I would suggest you get a large bucket and couple of gallons of vinegar and soak it over night. you might have to put it in upside down to assure the joint between the cup and the body are in the vinegar. There is a rubber seal that goes between the two so be careful of it when you take apart. You can buy replacements but I just wanted you to be aware so you can be careful. So if you are standing above it looking down the cup should come off with a slight counter clockwise twist and then lift up.
