Need help: Fragging long stem frogspawn?

I picked up 2 frogspawn with blue sponge on the stems at the spring frag swap. I do not remember who had them also being fairly new to the club, it was harder to put faces with screen names. :p

They have grown quite nicely and I want to frag and spread them to my other two tanks. I have at least a dozen small baby heads forming along the bottom stem, but no clear large heads like you see on the various youtube videos out there.

When is it "safe" to frag these. What is the best cut to make with this particular species? I will try and snap a photo but they usually close up pretty rapidly.
Looking for tips from the hands on folks who frag this on a regular basis.

Thanks.

I would wait until the heads have developed at least 1/2"-1" of their own branch before fragging them. Once there, just cut the branch as close to the main branch as possible.

Waiting until there's a good-sized branch also helps with mounting the frag.

Looks like I've got a while to wait then. Thanks. I've got them propped up so hopefully they will get more light than before.
