Need help cutting light into canopy

Hello! I'm kind of a forum stalker. I decided to get back into reef'ing after a few years. I'm starting small this time as last time I sunk alot of money into a larger tank and ended up having to move a year later :/

Anyways......I bought one of the ReefBreeder led lights and need it sunk into the canopy top. So basically there will need to be the hole where the light shines through and then the rim on the canopy where the light sits into so it doesn't slide around. I would think you would probably use a router to do this, but I'm no woodworker

Would anyone be able to help me with this? If not, do you know someone near the plano area that could do this?
