mounting/hanging lights

Ok so in about 2 weeks in going to order my reef breeder photon 16 or 24 and I can't figure out how I want to mount them. On somewhat of a budget, my son is turning one :) so I don't want to pay $100 dollars to mount them when it looks like the parts cost them $30. I have a industrial welder I can use so if anyone has made there own tips would be nice. Hanging from the ceiling is pretty much out because I have a vaulted ceiling about 13 ft high at an angle. I pretty much am either going to hang from tank/stand or wall. Ideas please.

I used this and is great if it will fit your tank size. $38.00 and free shipping. They also make a larger one - abt $75.00 for that one.

EBay: 24" to 40" frame hanger with mounting bracket for aquarium fish tank LED light

Here's what I did on my last setup. It's bolted to back of stand and each arm has multiple holes to raise/lower each arm individually, as well as, having each fixture able to swivel for easier cleaning access etc.

I believe it was a 1/4" plate for the base, with 1 1/4" base tubing, and arms were 1" to slide inside. Just standard 14g tubing sprayed with primer and some Krylon.
