Lost sps found but not dead

[Been almost a month since i rid myself of my xanthid.
I had this beautiful Chip's Acro that he pulled into his lair on the bottom. It has worked its way out nearly a month later and is not dead. Bleached white, but i can still see the retracted polyps in it.
Best advise for bringing it back into the light?
Stright up to the top near the halides or should i keep it low for a few days and start bringing it up?
I believe its not dead because i have good flow and food supply.

thanks,
Kevin]

[i was planning on keeping it lower for a few days, flow is not too much of an issue in thsi 48 inch tank atm.
this piece had about 5 differnt colors in it before it dissapeared, now its just white.
i may take a pic tomorrow and try to document the progress.]

[i would also strongly recommend some of the dt's oyster eggs!!

ive brought back quite a few bleached acros for a friend recently, and the dt's seems to speed the process up significantly

like TealCobra said leave him towards the bottom and then once he gets some color back to him move him up a little, and as his color progresses you can progress with the raising

he will probably turn brown first, then green, then back to his cool colors (this is the normal progression for regaining color)

hope that helps]

[congrats! sounds like he is making nice progression

once he gets a little more color you should try moving him up a little bit]
