looking for light hanging ideas

I have an aquapod 24 aquarium that I'm going it get up and running eventually. But I'm running into a problem right now I have a viper K2 MH light that I think I will abandon in favor of a evolution LED light. The problem is how to hang the lights, my wife wants the aquarium to look clean. The stand is a pedestal style so mounting will be difficult.

Does anyone have suggestions or pictures of their setups?
 
I've used this guide for a couple light hangers, works awesome and very inexpensive. Mounting would be tricky, perhaps to the wall?

Idk how led fixtures are but i know my halide pendants came w/ eye hooks. I bought black chain link at home depot. Was about 50 cents a foot. Then got S hooks.
it was something like this but w/o some stuff that you see in the pic.

I used a pendant from ikea to hang par38's over my 24nano.
Currently out of town so I can't send a pic. But the pendant is $10 from ikea the par38 is about a $110 each from marine depot
