LED Chip cleaning

I'm wanting to break down my Steve's led board and give the led.chips and lens.a good cleaning before I reinstall them.into my canopy. Is there a certain chemical, 90% or higher alcohol, that I can use without harming the lens.or chip material?

Alcohol works fine. Get a big bottle and a toothbrush, pour it all over and scrub, then rinse with more alcohol and repeat until it's all clean. Put in front of a fan to dry and the wipe each led and optic with a lint free cloth before re-assembling. The alcohol will evaporate and won't damage anything.
