Kenya tree and Sps

I am wanting to move my tank more towards SPS, but I have 3 Kenya trees and some bland colored polyps that I don't know ID on. My orange monti cap is doing well, however, I have tried a few other sps that don't do well. Water parameters are good. Change carbon monthly. Could the Kenya or polyps be making it hard to keep other sps?

Those "bland polyps" actually may be aiptasia, can you get a better closer picture? If it is aiptasia, its a pest and can overgrow your tank and sting corals in the process.

Regarding if the soft corals are hurting SPS from growing...typically it should not matter. As long as your parameters are good for SPS, they are good for SPS no matter what else you have in the tank. Some softies are actually good because they filter feed some waste in the water.

It would be best if you posted your parameters and then go from there:

- Salinity, Alk, Mag, Ca, Temp, Nitrates, Nitrites, Phosphate, flow, lighting, etc.
