Hello all,
I am new to salt water tanks, by new I mean I have not bought anything. I do have a 10 gal freshwater tank. Before I get made fun of, it is my 6 year old daughter tank, I just maintain it. Lol I can no longer do my passion of building race cars due to injuries from Iraq. No not a cool story ( I could make one up if you like. Lol), hurt my back pretty bad due to tripping over a black curb while running at 5am.
Anyways I have been maintaining her tank for a year and a half and it is relaxing. So I decided that I want a salt water tank. Yes I do know they are different animals so to speak. I don't plan on buying anything until next year. That will give me plenty of time to do research and pick people's brains for knowledge and ideas. I am in the plano/allen area. I am still getting used to the forum and if I ask a new guy question on where to find something (info on skimmers and such), just point and laugh and then point me in the right direction.
