Jebao WP60 help

Just picked up a WP60 and its way too much for my tank. To my understanding, there is a light sensor that goes in the side, that will slow the pump speed down a lot. I just so happen to not have that piece.
Does anyone know if that's anything special? Could I pick something similar up at a Radio shack? Could I just use a paper clip? I don't need the sensor, I just need the slow speed.

Thanks!

The light sensor only slows the pump down if it is dark. I have found that it sometimes fails if it ever gets direct bright light shined on it. Radio shack may have the sensor.

Sent from pay phone in the airport.

That's why I don't need the sensor function. I just want to bypass it and slow it down as much as possible. I can't run it at all without it clouding my tank from the sand being stirred up. It even flips my chalices over...

A standard LED dimmer switch will do the trick. That is what I use on my RW's.

I got it off amazon prime for $7 each. Or you can buy the variable power supply from fish-street. They run at 24v, but the dimmer switch works from 5-24v. I dont recommend turning the voltage down to less than 12v, but I have seen several people do it.

Also I just noticed in you signature you have an apex...fish-street has a apex module that will give you 0-100% control of that pump. Check it out.
