That looks like the snails I have in my tank, I have a few hundred in my 180.

If they are the same ones, they are the good guys, and stay small. A good point for me is they do not like to "re-decorate" my tank by knocking everything over like some larger snails do.

look for tiny white stars of snails that are yellow with back stripes.. otherwise you may have a fish of crab eating them... got any angles?
