help my tang has stopped eating

well my naso tand has stopped eating romaine lettuce
we have noticed the romaine is dfifferent in ALL the stores i have about 7 heads from different stores but it isnt like the romaine we used to buy

i have tried sea weed sheets flake and pellets

any ideas would be welcome

the fish still looks healthy but it seems like a long time since she ate
 
Try a little balsalmic vinaigrette on the lettuce... :lol:

Seriously, from what I know, Nori is better for them than any kind of lettuce.

I'd put a little Garlic Xtreme on the Nori. If that doesn't work, try getting some Seaweed Selects from an LFS. Or do you have any "fresh" macro that he may eat (caulerpa, green feather)? My rabbitfish loves an occasional treat of caulerpa that I pull from the overflow box every once in a while.

Is he eating any frozen that you feed (mysis, frozen algae cubes)?
 
misty i have never seen her eat anything but the romaine since we got her 3 months ago

ive tried nori ...guess i will try again

Here is my thread from exactly the same thing (Naso won't eat) over a year ago. A Selcon soaked pellet food finally got the fish eating again, and now is back to eating everything. The pickness lasted about another 4-5 days, then it was back to normal. I never did a freshwater dip, only kept rotating foods with Selcon and Garlic for a few days.
