I need help with identifying some species growing in my tank.

This one is growing on a rock I got from another member. It looks like a hair algae, but I don't think it is. All the hair coming out from a single hole.

White like dandelion. One on rock and one by the sand.

Reddish and it's growing bigger. Right now it's about 0.25 inch. It shoot out some slimy string. I thought it was coraline algae. It looks kinda soft, not hard looking coraline. I haven't touched it.

One more thing, is this red tube worm? Red hair coming out from swirling white tube.

Should I get rid any of them?

I have two more things growing. What are these?

Bad anemone?

Anemone is a lightbulb anemone. Do you have cultured Florida rock? I had these years ago.

Bottom is a clove polyp or star polyp.

spaghetti worm is something you want. If you don't want it in your DT put it in the refugium.

These are on live rock from Eckolancer. :) I think they are Fiji rocks. So are both okay to have in tank?

Thanks.

The polyps are green star polyps
Yes it is a lightbulb anemone. Have had a few of them in the tanks for years. My rock is almost 10 years old most from FL.

Sent from inside the shark tank!
