Have a problem with my urchin.

I have what I think is a problem with one of my urchins. He has lost most of his spines between yesterday and today and since this started he has not moved very much. What seems to be the problem? Please help me!!!

I tried to take pictures and they are to large I will have to take more and post them friday night.
 
Yup... check your nitrates and salinity. These animals are very sensitive to both. Once they start shedding spines, they usually don't survive.
