What would cause this? it was still kinda attached to the skeleton but all long and droopy. then a fish swam by it and part of it stuck to the fish and the rest kinda flew around.
What is your alk and cal at? What is the flow and lighting? What is the height of the coral in the tank? Any other coral that high up? If so what kind?
Well its always safe to assume if something changed that's it. It might be sensitive to too much light.
I have also found that emerald crabs can sometimes pick at torch/frogspawn. Although rare, I have seen physical tentacles being ripped off and eaten by an emerald before.
