I bought 2 yellow tail blue damsels from petco and i think one of them is not a damsel the color and body shape are a little different. one of them has a silver streak down its belly and is longer in the body than the other and instead of the line where the yellow meets the blue being crisp and defined it is kind of mottled and blends in. I will try to get pics of it this evening.

Ok I got I quick pic its not very good but it is the best I can do for now. One other thing I found interesting is the fact the it is hollowing out a hole in the sand under a big conch shell
 
most times stores dont get in a specific type of damsel, they get them in as "assorted damsels". so they might all be relatively close to each other in appearance but are actually different fish. could be a yellow tail and a yellow belly damsel. could be a blue devil like etphi said.

one thing for sure, that IS a damsel
 
Yeah it is pretty cool gotta love petco this is the second misidentified fish I have gotten from them. Thanks so much for everyones help
