Downdraft or something newer?

I have an ETSS 800 downdraft skimmer that I used on my old tank that I've kept for when I setup a new tank. I'll be setting up a 125g soon and I'm wondering if I should stick with the downdraft or go for something newer? I don't have a pump for the ETSS 800 and it needs a Iwaki 55 or equivalent. I also want things to be as quiet as possible because the new tank and stand is going in the living room, on tile flooring, close to the TV.

Anyone have any insight? Are there quiet external pressure rated pumps that will perform the same as the Iwaki 55?
 
I would suggest the Super Reef Octopus skimmer's with the bubbleblaster pump's. Very efficient and powerful skimmer.

Might see if any of the reeflo pumps can do it. Personally I would look at avast they have a pretty nice external skimmer.
