Does bulb placement matter?

Just wanted to get some opinions, right now I am running a 6 bulb ATI sunpower fixture. My new ATI bulbs just arrived today from Reefgeek so very excited to try them out. Just wondering does the bulb placement on the fixture matter when it comes to getting the colors you want?

Right now I'm running it as followed...

Rear
Blue +
Blue +
Coral +
Purple +
Blue +
Blue +
Front

I think it gives me a 15000K-18000K look, I want a 20000K or higher.

I was also thinking of doing

Rear
Blue+
Blue+
Coral+
Blue +
Purple +
Blue+
Front

or

Rear
Blue+
Coral+
Blue+
Blue +
Purple +
Blue+
Front

Any thoughts?

Also thought about switching out one of the Blue + for a True Actinic bulb to maximize fluorescence in the corals. Good? Bad?

Not with florescent bulbs, it does with LED's and especially MH's. So long as you have a good reflector it won't make any difference.

Unless you are replacing with exact same bulbs (light value), stagger the intro of the new bulbs. 2 per week is a good rule. Otherwise you can shock the tank and get corals upset and algae bloom.
