David's 90g of love

Hey! I'm new to the Society, and pretty new to Dallas. Been here a little over a year. Got a bonus at work and decided to set up a bigger aquarium than I've ever done. Its only 90 gallons, not like some of the monsters on here. But since I've mostly only done tanks smaller than 10g, this is huge for me. Sooo, its getting close to getting wet so I thought I'd start a build thread! thanks for checking it out!

Equipment list:
90g Planet Aquarium Corner Flow
Custom built stand (built by me!)
2 - Radion XR30s (with Reeflink)
1 - Ecotech MP40QD
JBJ ATO
Lifegard Quiet One 3000 Pump
Skimmer - Undecided

I know some people will still say my 90g isn't big enough for tangs, but I've wanted some for years and I plan on getting some for this aquarium. I have tons of fish and coral that I wanna make happen, but I'm sure it will take a while to fill up. Hopefully I can be patient! Thanks for following along. =)

In February, I decided I was gonna do this and started researching plans to build my own stand. I always feel like the normal stands are too low and I couldn't find any that I Loved that weren't super expensive. So over the last few months I built my stand in my brother's garage. My 1 bedroom apartment doesn't have a lot of room for building stuff. It was definitely a learning experience for me and its not perfect, but I'm very happy with how it came out! Here's some pics of the progress.

This is the frame that supports everything. Don't want any earthquakes knocking it over. =)

It sat like this for about 3 weeks because I was so terrified and confused about installing hinges and stuff.

As you can see, my math was a little off so there was a gap between the doors. I had to put a little flap on one door so it didn't shine through. Oh well!

Got the tank on top of it! yay!

Anyways, thought I'd share my stand build! Hopefully I'll get my sump started/finished this week and get the plumbing done. I'd like to get water in there soon! Thanks for reading!!
