Coral RX on Ricordea?

Best to dip every single coral you receive. Softies, SPS, LPS, pretty much everything.
I have yet to correlate Coral RX to any deaths so far.

Even reputable dealers sometimes pass along things you may not want in your aquarium.

The only things I wouldn't dip in CoralRX are fish, inverts, and anemones. Ricordia and Rhodactus are similar to anemones but they're not harmed by CoralRX. I dipped a yuma I got recently before adding it to my tank and the flatworms came boiling off it. It's doing great now.

I strongly suggest dipping all new livestock in Bayer prior to adding to any system, no matter where it was acquired from.

I was given a small bottle of "Reef dip Coral Disinfectant" from the Seachem guy at Next Wave. I have not tried it yet, but the bottle says "It is safe to use with both Stony and soft corals. It is also safe for anemones and polyps. "
